They are full of it and when I am having a bad day I crack.

I was travelling down Grey St towards the Waterfront when I pulled up at the four way stop at Olde’s. This just about at the same time as a Prime Security vehicle, CX 33796. I paused, he didn’t. I was marginally ahead, had right of way and had every right to pull into the intersection in high dudgeon. The driver in the Prime Security colours, who is apparently an inspector with the company, didn’t give an inch. Arrogantly stopping in the middle of the intersection. Blind and unrepentant attitude.

He had his family in the vehicle, was using it for private purposes and he did not seem to understand that whilst in uniform and whilst driving a marked vehicle, that he is a public figure with an obligation to set an example. This is not the first brush I have had with this company and it raises many questions concerning the discipline, training and management. I have reported the matter to Christo and it will be interesting to see what comeback there is, if any.

[EDIT] 6/8/10 Not having heard anything from Christo I left a message for the owner earlier in the week. He eventually got back me but it was not a particularly cordial exchange. He did not understand that irrespective of whether his employee had right of way or not he made point of deliberately getting up my nose by stopping dead in the intersection and blocking it whilst he fluffed out his tail feathers. He has an attitude problem and the uniform makes it difficult to ignore.

With 8 years experience as the head gardner in London, servicing the wealthy and famous, ambassadors, artistocrats and real gentry all I needed was, on average, 4 hours a month to keep their gardens ship shape .

Weekly =R 85.00
Fortnighly =R105.00
Monthly =R130.00

This Fee inlcudes VAT but exclude any chemicals or spares required. The following tests will be carried out and balance rectified:

PH Balance of water
Total Alkalinity
Chlorine Stabiliser
Calcium hardness.

Where a Salt Chlorinator is present – Cells will be checked and cleaned.

Chemicals will be supplied at the normal rate price.

Minor parts will be repaired and charged,eg Pool Cleaner, Hose, Diaphram, Dial Values, Wagon Wheel etc.

At the end of each visit,you will be invoiced. A copy of your service report will be left on site after every visit. Should we be required to carry out other work that does not form part of the agreement, we shall require payment on a C.O.D basis. We also change filter sand, do plumbing and motor repairs and fibre glass lining.
