Winters with us and this time around it’s going to happen. I have been up to Penny Pinchers, have picked out the fireplace that is going wrap our little abode in a warm winters glow. And now all I have to do is to get someone to install it.

Our carpets are shot, well past their sell by date and an embarrassment. The kids can no longer be used as an excuse and we are going to have to something. But where does one start?
